In addition to the aggressive targets for slashing carbon emissions signed in the Paris Agreement, the Brazilian market is optimistic about the profitability of investing in PV energy in the face of the crisis, especially with the Free Energy Market (PL 1917/15) already in final approval stage.
Sungrow recently closed a 500 MWac PV inverter solution supply contract with Mercury Renew, part of the Comerc Energia Group, specializing in the generation and management of renewable energy. Sungrow’s SG3125HV-30 central inverter solutions will be supplied for the construction of the Helio Valgas PV plant in Varzea da Palma, Minas Gerais, with capacity of 650 MWp. The clean energy produced will be destined to meet large companies’ demand in the free energy market, without state price regulation.
