ABOUT SUNGROW

Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. (“Sungrow”) is the world’s most bankable inverter brand with over 340 GW installed worldwide as of December 2022. Founded in 1997 by University Professor Cao Renxian, Sungrow is a leader in the research and development of solar inverters with the largest dedicated R&D team in the industry and a broad product portfolio offering PV inverter solutions and energy storage systems for utility-scale, commercial & industrial, and residential applications, as well as internationally recognized floating PV plant solutions, NEV driving solutions, EV charging solutions and renewable hydrogen production systems. With a strong 26-year track record in the PV space, Sungrow products power over 150 countries worldwide.

Sungrow possesses a dynamic technical R&D team that represents 40% of the personnel in the Company. The Company has also invested in its own in-house testing center approved by SGS, CSA, and TÜV Rheinland. Sungrow has the world’s largest inverter factory, with a global annual production capacity of 305GW, including 25 GW outside China.

Since its establishment in 1997, the company has always focused on the field of new energy power generation, adhered to the market demand-oriented and technological innovation as the power source of enterprise development, and cultivated a professional R&D team with rich R&D experience and strong independent innovation ability. It has undertaken more than 20 major national science and technology projects, presided over the drafting of a number of national standards, and is one of the few enterprises in the industry that master a number of independent core technologies.

PROGRESS ORIENTATION

Photovoltaic inverters, Sungrow’s core products, have been accredited by TÜV, CSA, SGS, and other international authorities, and sold to more than 150 countries and regions in the world. Sungrow’s cumulative installed capacity of inverter & converter equipment across the world has been above 340GW by the end of December 2022.

The Company has successively won the awards of China Grand Awards for Industry, National Manufacturing Single Champion Demonstration Enterprise, Top 50 Innovative Chinese Companies, National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise, Global Top 500 New Energy Enterprises, and Best Companies to Work For in Asia. More Than 26 Years

We have come such a long way in our 26 years. The concept of solar power was not really considered as a serious power source even as recently as the 1980s. Combined with other forms of regenerative energy sources, solar power is becoming part of the global energy mix. We have been doing our part since 1997.

150 Countries

There are over 190 countries or nations that inhabit the world. We’ve managed to install clean energy plants in 150 of them. That is a good first step towards a cleaner climate, but we still have work to do. After all, we all share the same climate and we all breathe the same air.

More Than 340GW

In absolute numbers there are 340GW that are currently deployed by Sungrow globally. This number may sound quite impressive, but compared to worldwide energy consumption, we still have room to grow. We will continue to push for a cleaner world, that's a promise.
